Usage<\/h3>\n

Yhteyden voi ottaa k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n huoneistojakamon Ethernet-nousuportista<\/strong><\/b>. Tietokoneen tai WiFi-reitittimen voi yhdist\u00e4\u00e4 t\u00e4h\u00e4n porttiin suoraan.<\/p>\n

Inside the distribution cabinet, there are additional numbered Ethernet ports. These can be used to extend the connection to corresponding numbered sockets in the apartment.<\/p>\n

ADSL ja VDSL -modeemeja ei tule k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4<\/b>, sill\u00e4 liittym\u00e4 toimitetaan Ethernet -liit\u00e4nn\u00e4ll\u00e4. Modeemin sijasta yhteydess\u00e4 tulisi k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 reititint\u00e4. Reitittimelle suositellut minimivaatimukset ovat:<\/p>\n

Reitittimen LAN<\/strong>-porteista kytket\u00e4\u00e4n Ethernet-kaapelit huoneiston dataporttien numeroja vastaaviin portteihin. Huoneistossa kytket\u00e4\u00e4n Ethernet-kaapeli tietokoneeseen.<\/p>\n

Useampi laite langattomasti kytkettyn\u00e4<\/h3>\n

Kytke huoneistojakamon nousuportista<\/strong> Ethernet-kaapeli huoneiston numeroituun dataporttiin. Kytke huoneiston vastaavasta dataportista Ethernet-kaapeli langattoman reitittimen WAN port<\/strong>-porttiin. Yhdist\u00e4 langattomat laitteet reitittimen langattomaan verkkoon k\u00e4ytt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 reitittimen pohjasta l\u00f6ytyv\u00e4\u00e4 SSID-tunnusta ja avainta.<\/p>\n

Nopeuden testaaminen<\/h3>\n

We recommend using the free Speedtest\u00ae by Ookla application to test the connection speed.
\n Do not use the browser version, <\/b>as it provides inaccurate results.<\/p>\n

1. Yhdist\u00e4 tietokoneesi kaapelilla SuomiComin taloyhti\u00f6laajakaistaan.<\/p>\n

2. Lataa ja asenna laitteellesi sopiva Speedtest -sovellus. Latauslinkit l\u00f6ytyv\u00e4t alempaa<\/a>, sek\u00e4 valmistajan on the official website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

3. Avaa sovellus ja valitse Speedtest -palvelimeksi Suomi Communications Oy, Espoo<\/strong> and start the test.<\/p>\n

Important Notes<\/h3>\n

Ensure you are not on WiFi during the test, as wireless connections limit speed and can give inaccurate results. Test the speed directly from the Ethernet port in the apartment\u2019s distribution cabinet for the most accurate results<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For 1000\/1000 Mbps speeds, the Ethernet cable should be at least CAT5e or newer<\/strong>. The computer\u2019s network card must support at least 1 Gbps speeds for the test to be reliable.<\/p>\n
