SuomiCom is a member of Finnish exchange points, such as FICIX and TREX Tampere Region Exchange Oy. SuomiCom represents a significant portion of the traffic of Finland's backbone node FICIX.

The Delivery and Installation of the Internet Connection Are Always Done Alongside the Existing Connection, Ensuring No Service Interruption
In broadband connection installation and delivery, we ensure that the new internet connection is connected alongside the existing connection. This way, there is no service interruption, and the customer can start using the new broadband connection at their convenience. We provide new IP information well in advance of the installation.
The delivery time for fiber connections is up to two weeks from order. Installation is done to a ready internal wiring network. Inadequate internal wiring or riser cabling may cause additional installation costs, but these can be agreed upon during installation.
The terminal device is delivered in bridging mode, so it is recommended to install a firewall or router for internet connections. A virtual or physicalFortinet firewallis also available as an additional service, with routing handled by SuomiCom.
Internet Connections
The connection speeds in SuomiCom fiber connections are available up to 100/100 Gbps. Please note the different service levels of internet connections when purchasing a broadband connection. We recommend high service level fiber connections if your business operations depend on a stable internet connection (e.g., payment terminals). Ensuring the internet connection with a backup connection guarantees a very reliable and fault-tolerant business internet.
