Fast Residential Broadband
The typical speed per apartment is 1/1 Gbit/s, meaning the connection is equally fast in both directions. SuomiCom ensures that the building's backbone connection is sufficiently fast to guarantee the promised speeds in practice.
Monitored Equipment
The network equipment installed in the building is monitored for faults. Connections to the apartments are delivered in bridging mode, so we recommend using an end device with a firewall.
Pro Service Level
The service level for Residential Broadband is Pro level. These connections are highly reliable. The building’s backbone connections include volumetric DDoS (Denial-of-Service) attack protection services.

Our non-congested and expert customer service promptly assists our customers with any questions that arise.
Availability and Fiber Installation
We provide property connections nationwide. If ready fiber is not available, fiber can also be dug in.
Delivery and Installation
Delivery time according to agreement. Installation is carried out on an existing internal wiring network, and equipment is installed in the building's distribution box.

Fiber Connection to the Residential Building at 10 Gbps Speed
SuomiCom implemented a turnkey solution for Leppävaara's Torni, providing a 10 Gbps backbone connection via fiber optic to the building's distribution box. During the installation, switches were set up in the building's intermediate distribution points to distribute the incoming fiber optic connection to the individual apartments.
A very affordable monthly fee and one-time payment were agreed upon for the implementation. The residential association bills the apartments for broadband usage as part of the maintenance fee, while SuomiCom invoices the residential association directly for the connection. This solution offers residents significant savings on broadband costs, eliminating the need for separate connection arrangements or broadband bills.
As a result, the residents of the residential building now enjoy Finland’s fastest internet and low costs.
